Who you are:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and all kitchen personnel. This demanding and often stressful position requires strong managerial, organization, communication, and leadership skills.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
  • Create and develop innovative menu items that meet the needs and preferences of customers.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with quality standards.
  • Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events and catering services.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, following all food safety regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new culinary techniques.

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Must have a current Texas Food Manager's Permit.
  • Must have experience at a high volume establishment.
  • Must have resume detailing past experience.
  • Must have verifiable work references.
  • Must have transportation to/from work.
  • Strong knowledge of food production techniques.
  • Be proficient in menu planning and recipe development.
