Who you are:

The expo is a liaison between the kitchen and service teams. This expo facilitates the process of delivering dishes from the kitchen to the guests in a timely manner, following proper steps of service. This position also helps to ensure that all food leaving the kitchen meets preparation standards and correct to the order and any dietary modifications. This expo needs to be comfortable working with groups of people under stressful, fast paced conditions.

What you’ll do:

• As an Expo in our kitchen, you are a key player in ensuring a smooth and organized flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area.
• Your responsibilities include: order coordination, quality control, time management, and communication.
• Maintaining clear communication with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure a seamless flow of orders is a vital part of this role.

What we need from you:

• At least 2 years experience in an Expo role in a full-service restaurant
• Must have current Food Handler and TABC permits
• Must be flexible with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
